When it came to winning awards, calling rappers out and lyrically delivering, Kendrick Lamar is the man who can proudly wear the crown for those things. With his debut album releasing October of 2012, he’s still successfully killing the game with his hit-maker album Good Kid, Maad City.

In August, Big Sean released a track “Control that did not make his album Hall of Fame due to clearance. Although Lamar name dropped on his verse, it doesn’t necessary mean its strictly a bad thing. It’s about who he didn’t name that should feel some type of way (and boy did some did). The rappers that he did mention are really the competition.

Kendrick raps:

When I’m usually homeboys with the same n*ggas I’m rhymin with, but this is hip-hop and them n*ggas should know what time it is. And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, Meek Mill, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron, Tyler, Mac Miller. Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you n*ggas. They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you n*ggas

With that being said, we asked you guys who would most likely go head-to-head with Kendrick Lamar? You voted Drake as the number one person. Followed by Tyler The Creator and J. Cole. View the poll below.
