Ne-Yo is making big decisions and this decision will maybe bring your next superstar. Mr. Yo launched his new record label “Compound Records” in Jamaica recently and celebrated with some of his close celebrity friends. On top of that, he treated a screening for Red Tails which is a movie he stars in along with Tristan Wilds, Terrence J, and more.
Celebrities in attendance included actor, Rockmond Dunbar; Keri Hilson, Shaggy, singer, Adrienne Bailon; CEO of Compound Entertainment, Tango; and Senior VP of Compound Island, Tishawn Gayle.
The launch of the new label follows Ne-Yo’s recent move to Motown/Universal, which will find him in the capacity of not only an artist, but the Senior VP of A&R. It also comes just months after the announcement of his collaboration with Malibu Rum—Malibu Red—slated for release later this year.
