Tyrese Gets Banned From Delaware’s Kiss 101.7 Airwaves For Saying ‘Homies’

If you’re a fan in Delaware that loves Tyrese music, then getting an iPod would be a good idea. Delaware’s biggest radio audience Kiss 101.7 has banned Tyrese and his music from hitting the airwaves.

Ty and the radio station recently had a disagreement and kicked the R&B singer out of their radio station.

The alleged reason of being removed from Kiss 101.7 was because he complained about a liquor store being directly across the street from an elementary school.

Owner of Kiss 101.7, Tony Quartarone says he didn’t ban Tyrese because of that. It was his language towards his listeners. “Tyrese was not kicked off the air for pointing out that liquor stores should not be located near schools … I totally agree with that. But … he proceeded to downgrade my audience by calling them ‘homies.’“. Quartarone says he will not unban Tyrese until an apology is issued.
