Kelly Rowland Responds to the Bashing Producer Jeff Bhasker

Kelly Rowland might of had a rude awakening when Beyonce’s producer Jeff Bhasker dissed her hot summer record “Motivation” featuring Lil’ Wayne.

He tweeted what he thought of the song twice, and it wasn’t pretty. “How can this kr song with the weakest beat and melody of all time be the #1 song on urban!? Oh yeah. Wayne.” The second go around he tweeted, “I just listened to Motivation again to see if I was to harsh in my critique. I wasn’t. The lyrics are horrid as well.

The “Lay it on Me” singer was interviewed by BET and was asked about his remarks. Rowland kept it PG with her thoughts.

You know what, the record speaks for itself. Opinions are like assholes, everybody’s got one. He’s made wonderful music with my sister and other artists. There’s no reason for me to say anything negative. ‘Cause I won’t tell you the thought that is really in my head. I’ll just kill ’em with kindness.

Back in May, “Motivation” landed in the #1 spot on Billboards R&B/Hip-Hop song in the country.
