It would look like Rihanna‘s April Rolling Stone cover. The woman behind Rihanna’s Rolling Stone photo shoot, B. Akerlund, explains the concept behind the eye catching cover. “Her people told me the direction that we were going was if Kid Rock and Rihanna had a baby. So I tried to think of things she hadn’t done. And everyone kept on saying super sexy, super sexy, and I’m like, okay, I’ll give you sexy.” On the front page cover, Rihanna wears a torn metallic Levi’s shorts with a white tank top and a red bandanna tied around her wrist. In the 2011 April issue of Rolling Stone Rihanna opens up about… Whether or not she’ll talk to Chris Brown again.
“We don’t have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn’t want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did to me was a personal thing – it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows – that definitely made it difficult for him. That was the only thing it was going to change, so I didn’t care. But you can never please people.”
And also touch bases with her latest hit “S&M”
“Being submissive in the bedroom is really fun,” she says. “You get to be a little lady, to have somebody be macho and in charge of your sh*t. That’s fun to me…I like to be spanked. Being tied up is fun.”
She also talks about her movie role in “Battleship”, how she held her composure during the 2009 incident and more. Rihanna’s April issue of Rolling Stone is now in stores.
